STATE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE WEARING MASKS WHILE ON THE SHUTTLE BUS.
PRE - RACE START:
6:00am - 9:15am.

Shuttle buses will run from Idaho Springs to Georgetown beginning at 6am to approx. 9:15am. For planning purposes, take the shuttle bus that corresponds to 1 hour before your designated start time. For example, if your start time is 7am, take a shuttle bus at 6am. If your start time is 8am, take a 7am shuttle bus, etc. Trip time from Idaho Springs to Georgetown is approximately 20 minutes. To avoid large groups of people congregating at the starting area we request that you plan to arrive at the starting area no more than 30 minutes prior to your designated start time. There is no designated event parking in Georgetown and there will not be shuttle service from the finish line back to Georgetown after the event.
**We recommend parking in Idaho Springs.**
Clear Creek School District Administration Building (320 CO-103, Idaho Springs, CO 80452) just south of exit 240 off I-70. In addition to the lot in front of this building, we will be parking cars on the old track adjacent to the building. Volunteers will direct you to this area. Please do not park in the Forest Service parking lot, vehicles parked here will be towed. Please be aware that metered parking has been implemented on Main Street, so please aim to park where volunteers direct you to avoid getting a ticket. Participants are allowed to be dropped off at the start line but no parking is available in Georgetown.

AID STATIONS & PORT-A-POTTIES
Limited water stations will be offered due to COVID-19 at MM3, 6, 8, 10, 12 and the finish area, with WATER ONLY. We encourage runners to carry their own water/nourishment as much as possible as a safety precaution (less touch points).
Bus pick up in Idaho Springs, Georgetown Lake (start area), MM1, MM2, MM4, MM6, MM8, MM10, MM12 and Clear Creek Recreation Center (post race location).
ALTITUDE & WEATHER
The elevation at the start is 8,500 feet, and gradually descends to 7,500 feet at the finish. Temperatures in the early morning at this elevation can be around 50° and can reach up to 85° at the finish. While conditions are usually optimal at this time of year, athletes should always be prepared for adverse weather because the race is run in
a mountainous location.
TIMING TAG INSTRUCTIONS
This race will be timed using an electronic timing chip. You must wear the timing tag for the duration of the race to receive full race results. The timing chip is attached to your bib, so please do not fold your bib or place a magnet on your bib it will render the chip useless. There is a $10 replacement fee for all lost or damaged chips.
Once the race is over you may keep the bib and chip but do not stand next to the finish line because it will keep setting off the timing mat.
T-SHIRTS, MEDALS & GOODIE BAGS
Finisher short sleeve T-shirts will be included with your registration, and may be picked up at early packet pick-up or at the finish line on race day at Clear Creek Recreation Center.
Goody bags and finisher medals will be available to all participants at the finish line.
Awards will be mailed to winners in all categories. Our coveted race-themed awards will be presented to the following age groups: Top 3 Male and Female in ages 19/under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74, and 75+.
